1PAX achieved a significant milestone by securing second prize in a competition for Singapore’s first vertiport, surpassing entries from 11 architectural firms. 

The VoloPort, a pioneering project, represents a crucial step toward establishing a comprehensive air taxi network in the city-state. The first edition of the VoloPort was conceived as a showroom, offering a tangible preview of the infrastructure and passenger experience for urban air mobility.In collaboration with Volocopter, Skyports has identified multiple potential VoloPort locations and air taxi routes across Singapore, laying the foundation for the introduction of commercial air taxi services in the near future. The successful implementation of urban air mobility depends on three essential components: cutting-edge aircraft, well-designed infrastructure, and a robust regulatory framework.
